Insurance
We recommend getting full travel insurance, including cancellation cover, as soon as you book your trip. If you're unsure about getting insurance, please sort this out before booking.
Cancellation and Amendments
Usually, your deposit and payments cannot be refunded, and your holiday cannot be changed unless we have agreed in writing to allow flexibility.
Vaccinations and Health Care
See your GP for expert advice on vaccinations and health care for your destination. You can also check the National Health Travel Network. Get advice early, as some vaccines and medicines need time before travel. Pay special attention to anti-malarial medication if needed.
Passports and Visas
You are responsible for your passport and visas. We can only give advice, so always double-check if it applies to you. Most countries, including many in Europe, require your passport to be valid for at least six months after you return. For long-haul trips (outside Europe), visas usually need to be obtained before travel and may cost extra. Make sure to check visa rules for your situation before you go. The best information for UK passport holders is from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

Local Taxes and Resort Fees
Local governments often charge a tourist or city tax paid by visitors staying in resorts. Hotels usually collect this tax for the local government, but sometimes it’s charged at the airport when you leave. The fees and where they apply vary a lot, and while we try to give accurate details, it’s not always possible.
In the USA, many hotels now add a “Resort Fee” on top of local taxes. This fee covers extra hotel services and usually costs around USD 24 per night but can be higher. You must pay this fee at the hotel, and it can change. If the fee seems too high, it’s worth asking the hotel about it, as you cannot get it refunded later.
Baggage Allowances
Baggage rules vary by airline and provider. We will notify you of the standard baggage policy when possible, and it should be on your travel documents. If no policy is shown, check the airline’s rules before you travel. We can help if you ask.
Note that on domestic flights in North America and the Caribbean, checked baggage is often not included and must be paid for at the airport.
If you plan to bring items other than normal suitcases (like sports gear), please ask us for advice, as some airlines need advance notice.
We are not responsible for any extra baggage fees charged by airlines.
Seat Selection
Most airlines charge to reserve seats early but allow free seat choice at check-in. We will inform you of your airline's seating rules when you book or right after. Sometimes, we will book seats for you and let you know if we do.
Documents
Please check all the documents we send you carefully and right away.
Make sure your name spelling matches your passport exactly.
Confirm travel dates match your plans.
Verify all arrangements are what you expected.
Transfers will be listed if included; if not listed, they are not included.
If you find any errors or issues, let us know within 7 days of receiving the documents. If we don’t hear from you within 7 days, we will assume everything is correct.
